Principles of double eccentric structure

First eccentricity - Offset a certain distance between the centerline of the sealing seat and the centerline of the valve stem. Make the valve sealing seat a complete round.

Second eccentricity - The valve stem centerline is offset by a certain distance from the valve body (or bore) centerline. At the same time, on the plate, the centerline of shaft hole that install the valve stem is offset the same distance than the external circle centerline outside the butterfly plate.

The function of double eccentric structure

When the butterfly plate is in the process of on/off valve and the valve is in full open state, the sealing surface is completely detached, especially a large gap near the sealing seat of the valve stem, so as to reduce the wear and abrasion of the valve sealing surface, protect the main seal rubber ring of the butterfly valve, and extend the service life.
