Flanged / Wafer Type Triple Eccentric Butterfly Valve for sour and alkaline medium
Triple eccentric butterfly valve, the valve stem shaft center deviates from the center of the plate and the body center, and the seat rotation axis has an angle from the axis of the body channel. When the valve is fully open, the plate sealing surface will completely deviate from the seat sealing surface. When the plate opens from 0 to 90 degrees, the plate sealing surface gradually leaves the seat sealing surface, and the valve opens. When the plate opens from 90 to 0 degrees, the plate sealing surface gradually approaches the seat sealing surface, and then press and the valve closes.
This not only eliminates the reduction and disappearance of the sealing specific pressure between the two seat sealing surface in the normal eccentric butterfly valve due to elastic seat material aging, cold flow, elastic failure and other factors, moreover, the sealing specific pressure can be adjusted arbitrarily by changing the external drive moment of force, thus improving the sealing performance of the three-eccentric butterfly valve, and greatly improving the service life of the valve.
As shown in the figure below, the butterfly valve is mainly composed of valve body, plate, stem, sealing ring, sealing packing and gear box, etc. Three eccentric butterfly valve is on the basis of double eccentric butterfly valve, form a β Angle between the rotational axis of the seat and the channel axis of the body, eccentric angle “a” of the plate rotary axis and the seat sealing axis, and eccentric angle “b” of the plate rotary axis and the axis of the body channel to form a three eccentric structure.
